Christmas Key Rings

This year I decided to knit some key rings in keeping with the Christmas spirit.  As you can see some have snow flakes, another has a Reindeer, a Christmas Tree and also some plain ones.  I am also knitting some with power and totem animals on and as you can see from the picture below my first is a swan. These key rings also double up as stress balls and the swan is also laced with lavender so it will make your pocket or bag smell sweet.  The prices of these for a very plain one start at £3 and the others go up to £7 depending on how elaborate they are.  I also knit them with initials in such as the one on the right  I also have a few totem key rings available an elephant, a penguin and a frog.  Again these vary in price as some take as you can imagine an age to knit.  Obviously prices do not reflect postage.  At the moment I am busy knitting two rattles which are commissions from a lady in Tasmania and also two pair of fingerless mittens as presents for someone who is constantly on the go and on the move.  If any of you have any other ideas of small gifts I could knit please place a comment in the box below.

Harry the Hedgehog with Tiny, Timmie and Topsy Tortoise

These are the latest little critter are for sale.  I have a few commissions I am finishing including a small egg rattle, two rattles with wooden handles, a key ring and two pairs of fingerless mittens.  I am also getting ready for Christmas and I have already knitted a Christmas key ring (see below).  The other key rings were won in a charity raffle and will be going in the post Monday.  Lets hope the recipients like them. If you have any suggestions of items I can knit please make a comment on the blog.  I have seen some lovely Scandinavian Christmas stocking patterns and I may be knitting one of two of those.  I also thought some red, white and green heart shaped key rings would be a good idea.  These key rings I have been told are excellent for car key rings as they are light weight,  They also double up as stress balls and the red is a colour of power, energy and strength (not good though if you have high blood pressure).

Power Animals.and other critters

As promised here are some of my power animal picture.  The gentleman on the right is called Piecrust and he now reside in America with Patricia Tucker Sevret.  He is only one of the power pets I have made and I also make pocket power pets, which are tiny little critters that will fit into your handbag or pocket.  Originally I had no intention of selling this particular pet as I had become rather fond of him.  As I said each has its own character and I am sure this will be verified by Patricia who lives in New Jersey.  I have ended these pictures with another picture of Piecrust who seems to be everyone's favourite and I will admit her is very endearing.  On the other hand so is the little owl on the left who is still with us.  On the stall at the Christmas Craft Fayre at the Seekers Trust you can see two key rings a dolphin and crocodile.  We also have made frogs, hedgehogs, snakes and whales - all now residing happily elsewhere.  If you are interested is commission us to knit something let me know either by ring 07927 288904 or emailing rainbowhealingsanctuary@hotmail.uk or posting a comment at the end of this post.  I have at present three key rings and a shamanic egg rattle to do.

Latest Rattle, Eggspert and Union J.Egg

As I said yesterday I was in the process of completing another rattle and last night I finished it. It has a shorter handle than the previous one and I am sure it will appeal to those of you doing shamanic work or colour healing with sound.  Each rattle will have not only it own unique design, but also it own unique sound.  All are one offs and different.  I thought I would add below a picture of "Eggspert" and "Union J.Egg" now reside in Australia with a lady called Jacinta who designs some fabulous baby clothes each of these too is unique and totally different. In later posts I will introduce you to my power pets and pocket power pets.  Each again is loving crafted and in truth have their own characters. If you get any ideas regarding other things I can knit please add comments in the boxes provided on the blog.

Have a heart

These are key rings which double up as stress balls.  They are apparently ideal for car key rings as they aren't too heavy and of course with these you are very unlikely to lose your keys every again or get into a panic whilst searching desperately for them.  They can be knitted with initials or plain.  I also produce key rings with little critters on and especially owls,  A whole range of these power pets are made.  So if you fancy one contact me on here by commenting on the blog or you can email me at rainbowhealingsanctuary@hotmail.co.uk and as I said when you are stressed they are there for you to squeeze.  Colours in themselves are healing and I do a lot of bright rainbow crafts.  Take a look at some of the other key rings and if youy want to order one for a birthday or special occasion please contact me.

Shamanic Rattles with Wooden Handles

This is one of our latest rattles totally different as they have hand carved wooden handles loving whittled by brother Allan who was inspired by Neil Paton.  We are going to be selling them between the prices of £20 to £40, which will depend on how elaborate the designs are as well as the sizes.  The rattle on the right is a birthday  present.  The colours represent the four directions and Mother Earth and Great Spirit.  The one below when it is finished will be for sale I think at around £20.  They are complex in themselves as one has to gage exactly when is the right time  to start putting the knitted part on the rattle

Shamanic Egg Rattles

This blog has been set up to display all my knitted wares, which are for sale, to buy for yourself or for a friend and I will take commissions. I have been making a lot of shamanic goods and these very light weigh egg rattles range in price from £5 to £10.  Rattle traditionally bring blessings and gifts from the Great Spirit. They are particularly good for those of you who have weak wrist and do not like heavy weights.  They can be used also to promote healing due to their colour range.  I have been hearing lots of lovely stories about these eggs from far reaches.  They have travelled to Canada, Australia, Ireland and the United States of America.  Hopefully Jacinta who lives down under will relate the story of Eggspert and his pal Union J.Egg.  I will be adding different pictures all the time and if you have any ideas in regards to things you would like me to knit I am open to ideas.
